A Hybrid working model
Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility in their working week. The expectation is that working life at Hogarth will involve working from the office for about 50% of the time for most people. What does the HR Generalist do at Hogarth?
We are seeking someone comfortable being the face of our People Team and being an ambassador for our employee experience, onboarding, offboarding, and people events. The Human Resources Generalist will perform the day-to-day functions of the People Team (HR) relating to the employee experience and lifecycle; onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, and people events.
Key responsibilities:
- Be the face of employee support, resolving employee inquiries, interpretation, and guidance of Company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate people events; wellness, DEI, on-site/remote engagement events.
- Own the onboarding experience end-to-end, being the onsite ambassador for all new hires.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and processes all documents for new employees, ensuring accurate employee data is entered into the Human Resources Information System (BambooHR/ADP).
- Participate in processing employee changes and HR/Payroll data to maintain accurate records.
- Data entry, audits and run reports for departments as required.
- Oversee offboarding and conduct exit surveys and provide analysis of trends and recommendations to increase retention rates.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of professional human resources work experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Calendar and SharePoint.
- Experience with an HRIS system, ADP, and BambooHR preferred.
- A process improvement mindset is highly preferred.
- Operates with attention to detail, multi-task, and collaboration.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At Hogarth California, the base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $35 to $40. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package.
