Sag Harbor Tavern, Red Hook Tavern's first sister restaurant out East, brings classic American tavern fare to the waterfront village of Sag Harbor, NY. We are bringing the same warmth, atmosphere, and hospitality of our frist location to Sag Harbor with a focus on the beautiful seafood caught right off the coast of Long Island.

The General Manager position demands creativity daily, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain the highest level of standards. The General Manager must work well under pressure, and he/she/they must be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and reliable. A strong level of wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge is necessary to succeed in this role, as well as a willingness and openness to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
Opening & closing the restaurant
Running pre-shift meetings
Beverage inventory, orders, and deliveries
Lead and oversee bar team on wine, beer and cocktails
Actively selling and retrieving wine during service
Supporting host and service team
Forming and maintaining relationships with guests
Enforcing policies and protocol
Running a nightly report
Scheduling
Training new staff
DOH inspection prep
