Our construction industry client is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as needed.
- Apply WIP accounting principles to track project costs and revenues accurately.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and other analytical tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with WIP accounting principles.
