Job Description:
The IT Senior Developer provides a broad range of system solutions development to business problems through the development and programming of applications/systems.
Depth & Scope:
- Performs complex to difficult technical tasks independently
- Advanced knowledge of technology, tools, various programming languages, processes, and procedures
- Extensive knowledge of the business, enterprise technology areas and/or the organization
- Key subject matter expert who consults with and may lead clients and/or project teams on multiple aspects of development issues
- Works as the senior or lead developer and coaches/guides team members within area of expertise
- Resolves highly complex and multifaceted development related problems
Education & Experience:
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5-7 years related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Java Development experience
- In-depth knowledge of Spring framework, Spring boot and Spring cloud
- Building REST API, microservice in domain driven using hexagonal architecture principles
- Good, demonstrated understanding of UI web-based application architectures and frameworks (Angular or React)
- oAuth2 and OIDC
- Knowledge of relevant security considerations for applications on cloud
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and experience with DevOps
- Solid understanding of both relational (Oracle, SQL server) and non-relational databases (MongoDB)
- Exceptional resilient application design pattern understanding
- Experience in building low-latency, high-availability, and performing micro-services
- Ability to independently analyze and solve increasingly difficult business and cloud environment issues
- Familiar with Telemetry and OpenTelemetry framework
- Familiar with Circuit Breaker design pattern
- DevOps practices including CI/CD, Jenkins, test automation
- Familiar with Log management tools like Splunk, Data Dog
- Exceptional understanding of Dynatrace to troubleshoot performance issue
- Embrace a learning mindset for continuous improvement
- Act with ownership culture to drive meaningful change
- Be an active player in PoC and Solution Design Thinking
