We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team of Civil Engineers in Colorado. This role will focus on a wide range of projects, including land development, municipal infrastructure, and oil and gas permitting. As a Project Engineer, you will manage projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.
Qualifications:

  • Lead oil and gas permitting, land development, and municipal projects from initiation to completion.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (surveyors, environmental specialists, engineers) to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure projects meet deadlines, scope, and budget.
  • Prepare and submit permits in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Work closely with regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
  • Oversee the design of residential, commercial, and industrial land development projects.
  • Prepare site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts using Civil 3D and relevant software.
  • Collaborate with local municipalities to meet project requirements.
  • Develop engineering solutions for municipal infrastructure, including roads, water, and wastewater systems.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Provide technical expertise and contribute to project decision-making in meetings.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering calculations, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation for future reference.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado or 8-10 years of experience in municipal land development projects.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D, ArcGIS Pro, MS Project, Word, Excel, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
