We are looking for an analytical, creative, curious and results-oriented business analyst to help shape the future of DigiFlex Operations. This is an exciting time to join, as we scale our coverage of international content, while maintaining a high bar for timeliness and quality.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Design and execute analytic projects in collaboration with Prime Video Digiflex Operations leadership, finance, business analysts, and other specialists.
  2. Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of both structured and unstructured data to help automate and optimize key processes.
  3. Deliver new dashboards and feature updates to support critical operational initiatives.
  4. Analyze and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights.
  5. Partner with data engineering teams to improve data assets, quality, metrics and insights.
  6. Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep dive investigations and future program development.
  7. Deliver operational metrics & scorecards to help inform leadership of progress, and surface new opportunities and areas of focus.
  8. Provide ad-hoc or special project data analysis to business leaders that enable them to achieve their goals, drive decision making and create new strategies where necessary.
  9. Gather and manage large datasets from multiple sources.
  10. Manage external and internal stakeholder's data needs.

A day in the life

As a Business Analyst for DigiFlex team, you will be responsible for the data collection and analytics of the Prime Video Digiflex Operations (Supply Chain). You will play a vital role, split between leaders and program management, leading data collection, analysis and trend research across multiple process and workflows. To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record of driving successful data analysis programs for large operations, sound business judgment, bias for business insights while providing management with information for decision making to solve problems, prioritize goals and optimize for resource allocation and results. You will also be able to have fun and inspire fellow Amazonians in their career journey.

About The Team

Prime Video DigiFlex Operations is a team that relentlessly works with partners and is responsible for ingesting content using both partner facing and internal technologies. We obsess over ensuring that every search, discovery and playback interaction with Prime Video (PV) is device agnostic, defect free and results in a high engagement experience for Customers. We collaborate with stakeholders across Prime Video to enhance and uphold PV's Customer experience, Quality bar and metrics. DigiFlex Operations Team plays an essential role at Prime Video, ensuring that the content that powers our vision to be the premier source of global entertainment, is complete and correct.

Basic Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  2. 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
  3. 5+ years' relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst, or statistical analyst role.
  4. Minimum 2 years experience with SQL, including the ability to do joins, query optimization, performance tuning, stored procedures, and function.
  5. Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master's degree in Business, Analytics, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
  2. Basic knowledge and understanding of AWS Analytics.
  3. Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders, management and partner teams.
