Job Summary

Please note: This is a hybrid role and will work in the office three days a week.

This position is responsible for partnering with the division and other functional areas in identifying, validating, monitoring, and reporting of key metrics and outcomes influencing provider performance. Leading business analysis, ensuring alignment and integration across functional areas in support of divisional strategies, and ensuring consistency and efficiency of major, complex, and strategic cross-divisional and enterprise-wide projects and initiatives from inception to completion. Provides oversight & coordination of project teams, resources, and budget to implement projects or initiatives according to dynamic and critical timelines. Interacts with all levels of management including senior management. Supports the prioritization of transformational program activities and tracks progress to goals.

Required Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience OR 9 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, project management, business operations or relevant health care industry experience.
  2. 3 years of experience leading large and complex multi-million dollar projects.
  3. Experience communicating with senior management from multiple divisions.
  4. Experience developing and delivering presentations.
  5. Problem resolution experience and skills.
  6. Knowledge of strategic planning techniques and industry trends.
  7. Experience interpreting business and financial information.
  8. Negotiation skills.
  9. Verbal and written communication skills including establishing working relationships across departments, preparing presentations to senior management, and establishing team environment.
  10. Organizational skills.
  11. Experience managing multiple complex projects successfully.
  12. Detail oriented.
  13. PC proficiency to include MS Office products.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  1. Health insurance or healthcare industry experience with emphasis on network management.
  2. Proven strategic thinking and execution.
  3. Ability to drive decisions, create optionality and determine impacts of options.
  4. Experience developing KPIs, performance dashboards, and information reporting related to medical cost data.

Additional Required Job Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree and 5 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy OR 9 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics including 1 year experience in data analysis and information reporting relating to healthcare data, including pharmacy.
  2. Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise, with 3-5 years experience in the PBM/Pharmacy/Healthcare industry or related experience.
  3. Proficient with software used for data mining, statistical analysis, and data visualization (Excel, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau); strong understanding of database architecture.
  4. Demonstrated ability to interpret large data sets with the ability to interpret and solve complex problems.
  5. Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices.
  6. Takes initiative to solve complex problems; takes an “outside –in” perspective to identify innovative solutions.
  7. Knowledge of various software development processes, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, and development, agile methodologies, and tools and technologies.
  8. Create and conduct presentations to inform and influence, with the ability to think laterally and creatively.
  9. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  10. May lead functional teams or projects.
  11. Ability to report into our office 3 days per week.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  1. Advanced degree in analytics.
  2. SQL writing skills.
  3. Analysis of clinical data, utilization management, pharmacy data, Pharmacy Program data, provider data.
  4. Analytical Thinking, Conceptual Thinking, Information Seeking, Initiative, Results Orientation.
