Canyon Ridge Hospital has serviced the Greater Inland Empire since 1989. Canyon Ridge is a 157-bed acute, locked psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults and active military.
We offer a complete continuum of care with various levels of step-down care including inpatient, outpatient (PHP & IOP), Patriot Support Program, and specially designed geriatric programming.

We are seeking to add a full-time independent contractor/1099 Psychiatrist to our dynamic medical staff team.
Job Details
- 1099/independent contractor.
- Excellent earnings potential: $500k+.
- Service directorship is available with additional monthly stipend.
- Highly collaborative and dynamic medical staff with a supportive and well-established administration team.
- Diverse payor mix.
- Highly autonomous role with a flexible schedule.
- Weekday rounding hours are between 7am - 7pm.
- Daily caseload 15-20, depending on your comfort level.
- A mixed daily caseload consisting of adolescents and adult patients.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient (PHP, IOP) services
- 3-5 admissions per day, per physician on average.
- Each physician is responsible for securing coverage for their patients 7 days per week via shared coverage and supervised NP(s), we welcome bringing in your own NP for weekend or weekday rounding.
- This position is on-site, telepsychiatry will not be considered.
Job Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program is required.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible General Psychiatry required.
- Licensed to practice in the State of CA or the ability to obtain a CA medical license.
- Ability to provide care and bill for services rendered to patients with Medicare, Medicaid, or other state or federally funded insurance programs is required.
