Are you an expert Mig Welder and searching for a new employment opportunity? Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Welder in Ooltewah, TN, for a family-owned business specializing in customized developments as well as in the series production of load carriers, dangerous goods systems, logistics systems, plastic molded parts, and wooden packaging. This is an exciting opportunity for talent with at least two years of recent industrial experience as a fabricator/welder!
Pay: $18 per hour (with structured pay raises; make $20/hr once offered permanent employment!)
1st Shift Hours: 4 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (Opportunities for overtime on Fridays)
Essential Functions:
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Use appropriate welding equipment or methods based on requirements.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of recent industrial experience as a fabricator/welder.
- Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Capability of frequently lifting 50 pounds.
