Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
Helps the clients with any questions or problems they mayhave about their import shipments that come to ports across the country. Givesexcellent customer service to meet client's needs by phone and email, and logsall transactions in systems required by the company. Keeps up the highestproductivity and service levels standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Resolves customers' issues and worries by taking the right actions. Uses all available tools to meet customer's needs in the first contact whenever possible. Provides extra information to improve customers' experience.
Responds to phone calls and emails quickly, professionally, and effectively.
Gives accurate and timely answers to all questions about transportation status and updates. Follows corporate guidelines when dealing with customer questions about shipments.
Contacts other departments outside of Import Customer Service to correct and resolve any errors. Reports unusual or complex problems to the supervisor for resolution when needed.
Foresees potential challenges before they happen and has problem solving skills to deal with any unexpected issues.

Qualifications & Key Competencies:

English: advanced
Strong attention to details
Organized, efficient, and able to manage time effectively
Strong customer service mindset, focused, and responsive
People oriented, with ability to proactively identify client's requirement and understand their point of view
Ability to work under stress
Great team player
Adapt to learn new software
Prior experience in customer service, or administrative and clerical jobs with a focus on customer service and problem resolution
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience in similar role
Knowledge of MS Dynamics
Knowledge of de-escalation techniques
Physical Demands
Extended time spent at a desk and using a computer
