Principal UI/UX Engineer / Architect (Redwood City)

Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Lead the vision and execution of innovative UI/UX designs for Anomali's next-generation threat detection and search platform.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure a seamless user experience, from concept to implementation.
• Translate user needs into intuitive and scalable UI/UX solutions.
• Champion best practices in UI/UX development, accessibility, and usability testing.
• Stay current with cutting-edge technologies and trends in the UI/UX landscape. (This is a hands-on technical role, not just design.)
• Mentor and guide junior UI/UX professionals on the team.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
• 10+ years of experience as a UI/UX Engineer, Architect or a related role.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering exceptional UI/UX solutions for complex enterprise applications.
• In-depth knowledge of UI/UX best practices, design principles, and accessibility guidelines.
• Experience building web applications React, Redux, and Angular.
• Expert knowledge of React and Angular packages.
• Experience with client-side MVC/MVVM frameworks.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with CI/CD.
• Proven expertise in test automation for front-end applications.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Skills/Experience
• Experience with security and threat detection software
• Expertise in data visualization and presentation frameworks, such as Grafana
• Prior work in a fast-paced, startup environment

Compensation Transparency
$180,000 - $200,000 USD
Please note that the annual base salary range is a guideline and, for candidates who receive an offer, the base pay will vary based on factors such as work location, as well as, knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for benefits, and may be el igible for equity.
