Job Requirements / Description

Perform risk analysis and provide risk oversight for derivative products for the Risk Management Department, which oversees the Firm’s counterparty credit, liquidity, market, model, operational and regulatory risk. Collaborate with Risk Management, Portfolio Analysis and Product Control teams to perform quantitative market, credit, and liquidity risk analysis to enhance accuracy in predicting and assessing risks. Develop and maintain inventory of risk analytics tools and risk models such as scenario analysis tools, stress testing tools, FRTB, IRRBB (Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book) and Initial Margin Model (SIMM). Conduct independent model validations of risk models. Develop and implement model governance framework. Work closely with the Model Risk group to produce model development packages and secure model approvals for risk models, such as FRTB model risk governance. Collaborate with the front office to assess trading capability of new products and business strategy. Establish and review risk appetite framework and business strategy to achieve revenue target and new business growth. Requirements:Master’s Degree in Statistics, Risk Management, Mathematics or Quantitative and Computational Finance, plus two years of experience in the position offered or in a risk analyst role.**All required experience must have included developing and maintaining risk analytics tools and risk models including stress scenario tools and VaR models, FRTB and initial margin model; conducting model validations of risk models, including VaR, SVaR and market stress testing models; and developing a model governance framework to monitor the models. This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our New York, NY office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.#LI-DNIMinimum Salary: 128,211 Maximum Salary: 138,000 Salary Unit: Yearly
