We’re seeking an experienced and exceptionally talented Data Solutions Engineer to drive growth at our top tier VC-backed early-stage SaaS startup. This role is critical to our immediate phase of growth and sets the stage for rapid scaling.
About the Role
- Be a major part in building a top-notch product that empowers businesses to utilize their data for decision making
- Work with Preql customers to understand their data needs and translate their business requirements into solutions and product requirements
- Partner closely with end users of the Preql product to ensure successful onboarding and ongoing success
- Work cross functionally with software engineering, product, and design teams to share data/analytics expertise and collaborate on technical approaches to support customer needs
- Be a major part of shaping and executing Preql’s vision as it relates to data integration, transformation, and quality

Skills
- 7+ years of professional experience in high impact data roles (analytics, analytics engineering, data engineer)
- Experience interfacing with business stakeholders and translating data concepts for less technical audiences (consulting experience a plus!)
- Experience designing and implementing ETL pipelines, data integration, and data transformation processes
- Experience working with, optimizing, and administering Snowflake and other cloud warehouses
- Expertise in dbt and data modeling best practices
- Highly proficient with SQL and experience debugging output data
- Independent, fast learner and excited about learning new technologies.
- Experience implementing ETL tools and creating custom connectors
- Nice to have: experience with Python
