Vice President, Sales

• Is the voice within Senior Leadership that ensures sales opportunities are prominent and followed through on
• Cultivates strong relationships to consistently expand the roster of potential advertisers and sponsors, while nurturing existing client partnerships
• Manages and incents the team to be relatable and responsive to the business community to achieve revenue goals
• Exhibits a leadership style based on empathy and humility while influencing and building relationships across the organization at all levels.

Other Responsibilities

• Drive revenue generation to exceed goals.
• Build, develop and lead sales team that consistently exceeds goals.
• Assure that the organization is using the most appropriate systems (including digital products) and procedures to drive revenue development.
• Keep up to date on current resources, trends, obstacles, and developments in revenue generation.
• Represent the organization and ensure the development and maintenance of strong long-term relationships with individual and corporate funders.
• Develop with the CEO and the finance team the organization's sales budget.
• Exhibit the Mission, Vision, & Core Values of Lehigh Valley Public Media.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• At least 10 years of proven, successful sales experience, preferably in a digital media environment.
• Prior successful experience leading a sales team.
• Extensive experience with, and up-to-date knowledge of, digital advertising sales products.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record as determined by a driver's license background check is required for this position.

MINIMUM DEGREE/TRAINING

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, economics, marketing, technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• May be asked to work longer hours and occasional weekends with short notice.
