Graham-Rogers is seeking a Standard Underwriter Assistant to join our team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Under the direct supervision of the Standard Lines Manager or the Office Leader. The Assistant Underwriter's task is to provide assistance to retail agents, processors, and other underwriters as needed and necessary in a timely, efficient and accurate turnaround time and other duties as requested by the Standard Lines Manager.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

    • Receives and distributes all quote submissions to underwriters throughout the day
    • Logs all quote submissions into Salesforce for documentation and follow through
    • On a daily basis, receives all binder orders and reconciles the binder request with the quote proposal provided to the retail agent from the underwriter.
    • Records the Binder Request into the agency management system.
    • Issues and emails the Binder Acknowledgement to the retail agent.
    • Provides weekly binder activity report to management
    • On a daily basis, retrieves all billing notices (nonpayment notices, reinstatements, cancellation confirmations) via carrier websites.
    • Records all notices into agency management system for documentation
    • Emails the above mentioned notices to the retail agent and confirms receipt.
    • Assist the underwriters with phone calls, declining quotes upon underwriter's review and approval, and completes replacement cost estimators upon sub agent's request &/or as needed by underwriter.
    • Forwards notice to the mail room where to mail the check(s) when received by the retail agent
    • Records payment mailed activity into agency management system and verify that payment has been applied to client's account via the carrier's website.
    • Complete all suspense items within 30 days.
    • Completes all company request correspondences as needed
    • Completes all non-renewal notices and faxes or emails to retail agent.
    • Respond promptly to all voicemails and emails within required turnaround time set by management ensuring a high level of service is maintained
    • Renewal review, recommendations, comparison quotes and remarket when needed.
    • Process change requests on carriers website, when needed.
    • Reconciles all new business policies and all policy changes processed and issued by the carrier.
    • Review and invoice all endorsements (and renewals, if necessary).
    • Support other members of the team when needed.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • High School or higher education
  • Obtain a P&C license within 12 months of hire.
