What will the Corporate IT Lead do?

The Corporate IT Lead is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's technology infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems to facilitate business operations.

Note: This is an onsite position.

What does a typical day look like for the Corporate IT Lead?

The person in this position will do the following:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of CertiPath’s corporate IT assets, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.
  • Work within the overall security controls framework, including the most recent versions of the CertiPath Information Security Policy and CertiPath Business Continuity Plan, under which CertiPath’s corporate and business applications environment are managed.
  • Proactively manage corporate IT logical and physical access, software, licensing inventories, and standards.
  • Establish and maintain demonstration environments for CertiPath’s COTS products.
  • Provide support for other internal IT functions–including headquarters office telephony, audiovisual services, printing and scanning, physical access controls, and visitor management–using CertiPath management-approved solutions.
  • Deliver ITILv3-aligned internal IT user and desktop support processes, including user self-service, automation, support ticketing workflows, and context-appropriate issue escalation/issue resolution.
  • Provide hands-on technical support for user and device support requests under an internal Service Level Objective (SLO).
  • Effectively apply information security controls in accordance with security-hardened configuration baselines and perform timely operating system and application security patches.
  • Provide first-line support for CertiPath management-requested activities, including cybersecurity investigations, as may be required from time to time.
  • Follow security policy, direction, and controls as directed by the CertiPath Chief Information Security Officer; this includes providing both individual- and management-level support for implementing and maintaining the CertiPath Corporate-SDLC System Security Plan (SSP) and its Plan of Action and Milestones (POAMs).
  • Monitor the company IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness in IT spending.

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the Corporate IT Lead we’re looking for if you have:

  • U.S. citizenship.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, information systems, engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in IT systems management, engineering, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing IT for small- to medium-sized businesses.
  • Experience with Azure/Windows Domain Management and Administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell, GPO, and other scripting tools.
  • Experience managing and maintaining IT support management workflows.
  • A strong technical background in network and systems administration.
  • A deep understanding of and a focus on continuous improvement in Microsoft desktop, mobile, cloud application technology configuration, deployment, and support best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the latest technological trends and best practices in IT management.
  • The ability to (1) move throughout the building to access equipment, (2) position yourself to view installed equipment, and (3) move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

We’re extra impressed by folks with:

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices (CMMC and NIST SP 800 series controls).
  • Experience applying lightweight and flexible change management processes to corporate IT environments.
  • Previous experience supporting and maintaining customer-facing product demonstration environments.
  • Experience working with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) standards and/or Physical Access Control System (PACS) technologies.
