Job Title: Superintendent – Ground-Up Medical Office Construction

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
- Vehicle Allowance: $100/week (non-taxed)
- Mileage Reimbursement for any commute over 30 miles

Ideal Candidate:
- Local candidates only (No relocation provided)
- Strong background in commercial construction , specifically ground-up medical office projects
- Proficiency with construction software such as PowerTools (for Estimating, PM, Accounting, Bids) and MS Project
- Comfortable using iPads, company-provided phones, or personal phone allowances in the field
- Experience in scheduling, subcontractor management, and ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Oversee the ground-up construction of medical office buildings, ensuring timely completion, safety, and adherence to quality standards
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they follow the project schedule, quality control standards, and safety protocols
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain construction schedules using MS Project, ensuring all milestones are met from pre-construction through project closeout
- Pre-construction Involvement: Participate in the pre-construction planning process, working closely with the Project Manager and estimating team to refine project details and schedules
- On-site Management: Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including resolving issues, coordinating inspections, and handling change orders
- Medical Office Expertise: Leverage knowledge of medical office construction to anticipate challenges specific to medical facilities and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all construction work is completed according to company standards, medical building regulations, and client expectations
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, holding regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal safety regulations
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with the project team, subcontractors, and clients, providing regular updates on project progress and any potential delays
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues that arise on-site, making recommendations to the Project Manager for adjustments or improvements as needed
Work Schedule:
- Typical work hours: 7 AM – 3 PM
- Minimal weekend or night work required
- First projects located in Lake Mary and Villages
