UNITED CREDIT UNION POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Teller
DEPARTMENT: Teller Department Administration
REPORTS TO: Assistant Teller Manager, Teller Manager,
Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager
MAJOR PURPOSE: Servicing Member transactions, in addition to cross-selling products and services.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verify cash drawer daily
Post daily transactions and mail receipts, deposits, withdrawals, transfers, adjustments, loan payoffs, posting of cash and non-cash items
Process sales of money orders
gift cards
Great America tickets
Cross sell products and services offered by United Credit Union
Complete Line-Of-Credit transactions
Complete United Credit Union VISA Cash Advances (credit card)
Attend required training sessions
Operate currency and coin counter
Initiate Stop Payment requests
Process daily deposits
Fill in at other location when needed
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
High School graduate or GED Certificate
Experience:
Teller experience, cashiering or prior cash handling experience
Knowledge/Skill/Abilities:
Pass basic math test
Have the ability to communicate verbally in a clear and concise manner
Be able to work well with others
Exhibit competency in using current technology, such as computer, calculator, etc. necessary to complete required and miscellaneous responsibilities
