Title: SRE
Location: Hybrid inForth Worth, TX or Phoenix, AZ - onsite interview is required.
Rate: $38-42/hour
Duration: Ongoing Contract
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.
Job Details
o Knowledge and experience with monitoring and alarming processes and technology
o Experience operating with cloud service platforms
o Ability to stand up a new cloud environment
o Determine system interactions and dependencies with other applications and components within the Voice Services product
o On-call support as needed based on rotation and severity of issues
o Route defects to appropriate internal/external squads for defect remediation
o Responsible for managing problem management policies
o Collaborate with monitoring teams to develop new alarms and alerts based on undetected incidents and capturing all appropriate data that triggered the alarm
o Define monitoring types and thresholds to implement
o Knowledge of SSL Certs
o General Networking knowledge
o Document and maintain playbook for obtaining Mean Time to Repair (MTTR)
o Participate in weekly calls to understand changes being implemented to the systems
o Call Center platform experience
o Experience of forecasting and capacity planning of system and network resources
o Experience with cost efficient provisioning of resources

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
o Degree or years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
o 5+ years of IT Engineering and/or Operations experience with increasing levels of responsibility
o 1-3 years of experience in Kubernetes cluster and good understanding containerization and good hands-on experience in NGINX Ingress controllers
o 1-3 years of knowledge with Linux environments
o Working knowledge of databases: Oracle, SQL, etc.
o Knowledge of Cloud infrastructures (AWS, Google, IBM, etc.)
o Knowledge of Web Servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.)
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced changing environment
o Ability to multi-task and prioritize
