Stanley Consultants is seeking a Client Service Manager / Project Manager for our Chicago office. Stanley Consultants is actively working in the Water / Wastewater Market in Illinois and needs additional leadership to maintain our current market presence while assisting our existing team to build Stanley’s water market presence. In doing so, this position will lead and deliver water, wastewater, and groundwater projects in the State of Illinois. This individual will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and services during construction.
The successful candidate will have a Chicagoland network of water and wastewater connections and regional expertise in one or more of the following:
- Asset Management
- Wastewater collection and conveyance
- Peak weather flow infrastructure
- Wastewater treatment
- Biosolids management
- Wastewater disposal and reuse
- Water supply (surface or groundwater)
- Water distribution and storage
- Water treatment
- Water transmission, distribution and storage
- Knowledge of and connections in the water resources area is a plus.
Essential duties include:
- Initiates, develops, and maintains close client relationships with Chicagoland clients
- Manages the preparation of proposals, presentations, contract procedures, client invoicing, and collections
- Actively participates in AWWA, WEF, APWA, ASCE, IAWA, and other professional organizations at the local, regional, and national levels
- Develops creative and innovative approaches to project development
- Provides leadership during project execution
- Leads our efforts in Client Satisfaction
- Assists in developing strategic plans for assigned clients including identification of project opportunities and pursuits
- Maintains marketing database and prepares routine reports on sales efforts
Requirements
Background requirements include:
- Bachelors of Science degree
- Requires 10+ years of relevant experience in a consulting engineering or public works environment
- Proven track record of successful project and client development
- Membership and current active participation in AWWA and/or WEF is a plus
- Must possess knowledge of water supply, treatment, transmission and distribution, and storage facilities; and/or wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal (liquids and solids trains).
- Must possess a working knowledge of funding sources for water, wastewater, and water resources projects
Base Compensation : $117,900 - $158,200
