TYPE OF POSITION: Hourly Hours may vary based on program needs REPORTS TO: Supervisor of Nutritional Services, First Cook, Building Principals SUPERVISION: Assist with supervision of kitchen personnel QUALIFICATIONS: Required High school diploma or equivalent 1-3 years' work-related experience MSNA (MN School Nutrition Association) Certification Level 1 (required within 3 years of hire date) Serv Safe Certification (required within 1 year of hire date) Preferred Bilingual Basic cashiering skills Knowledge of customer service principles POSITION SUMMARY: Second Cook will assume all responsibilities of the First Cook in their absence; assist the First Cook to prepare, order, serve, record, manage and evaluate menu items for daily production of the breakfast/lunch program; assist with the supervision of all kitchen personnel.
