This role leads the efforts of the Scrum team to iteratively develop new features and/or enhancements and fix defects. This role acts as the servant leader for the Scrum team—guiding them throughout the Agile Scrum processes, removing any impediments for increased productivity and continuously improving.ResponsibilitiesGuides the Scrum Team/organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and methodologiesFacilitates new Scrum teams to deliver work, increase discussion, drive decision making and resolve conflictBuilds a trusting and safe environment to air issues and concerns and supports collaborative problem solvingRemoves impediments to product development/enhancements and deliveryMeasures the Agile ‘maturity’ of Scrum team(s) and coaches the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the teamAssists with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and the spreading of informationSupports and educates the Product Owner, especially with respect to refining and managing the product backlogOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required3 years of work experience in Scrum/Agile or working in related information technology, business analysis, or project management rolesMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional QualificationsExperience in planning, controlling, and monitoring of products in Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Kanban, and SAFeProven customer focus with the ability to lead and communicate effectively with business (non-IT) and technical stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to work effectively with ambiguity and evolving prioritiesAdvanced problem-solving and analysis capabilitiesProven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively cross functionallyPreferred Qualifications2 years as a Scrum Master of multiple embedded technology teamsCertified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM)Experience in working within a traditional Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) – ability to apply standards of test-driven development methods covering the full development lifecycle (e.g. project preparation, analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support) to ensure solution quality and consistency of processMinimum Physical Job RequirementsConstantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hearFrequently required to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusReporting StructureReports to Manager in the Information Technology departmentPotential pay for this position ranges from $85,600.00 - $128,400.00 based on experience and skills.
