Job Description
Job Summary:
Picking orders and loading trucks, as well as completing various other warehouse duties related to shipping and receiving.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Follow all physical safety and good manufacturing practices.
2. Palletize orders with corrected quantity and SKU, wrap with plastic and prepare for loading on delivery trailer.
3. Use standup forklift and ride on pallet jack to load and unload semi-trailers and move freight around warehouse.
4. Load all outgoing container and trailers.
5. Recording data required for Food Safety and inventory management.
6. Learn all products/SKUs and become familiar with load/pick sheet and picking software.
7. Know Versova safety Absolutes and always maintain high standards of safety when working in warehouse and around warehouse equipment and commercial trucks.
8. Communicate and interact well with other team members and departments.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.
- Forklift and pallet jack certifications preferred.
- Able to work in various climate conditions including cold environments, walking, and standing for extended periods of time and be agile (bend, kneel, squat, climb)
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $19.30 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
