Our client is seeking a Lead Cook to join their team. As a Lead Cook, you will be part of the Kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with food prep and food safety, ability to evaluate and lead kitchen staff and familiarity with inventory management and ordering procedures.
Job Title: Lead Cook
Location: Dayton, Ohio
Pay Range: $17/hr.
Shift: Able to work 9am-2pm and may be asked to work some evenings and weekends
Job Responsibilities:
Prepares and serves food adhering to prescribed standard recipes and procedures
Follows all health requirements and food safety protocols
Exhibits excellent communication skills; ability to supervise, encourage and develop staff; ability to relate to all populations served
Able to estimate food and beverage consumptions; maintain inventories and keep records

What’s Needed?
Must have at least one year of culinary school with continuing education toward culinary degree
At least 2 years of professional cooking experience
Must have Serv Safe Certifications
Excellent character and personal hygiene
Dedication to food safety and maintains Serv Safe certification
Ability to follow directions
