Responsibilities

Windsor Laurelwood is hiring for a Director of Risk Management

Position Summary:

The Director of Risk Management/Performance Improvement (RM/PI) is responsible for directing and monitoring the hospital-wide quality management assessment and performance improvement program, ensuring the hospital's programs are in compliance with all regulatory agencies, Joint Commission, and state and Federal agencies. The Director of PI/RM is responsible for identifying and correcting potential risk-related issues and reporting risk violations to and through the appropriate channels (i.e., Chief Executive Officer, Corporate Representatives, and regulatory agencies).

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensure: A valid license to practice nursing in the State of Ohio is required.
• Additional Requirements: Maintains current CPR and CPI certification, as well as current Seclusion and Restraint training.

Education:

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in nursing. BSN preferred. Extensive knowledge of Joint Commission and state and regulatory requirements is required.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in performance improvement within a psychiatric setting is preferred.
