Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a robust background in utilizing Microsoft Excel, including Power BI and SQL queries, as well as advanced functions and formulas, with a minimum of three years' experience. The ideal candidate will also have at least three years of experience conducting statistical analysis of program data, inputting and executing budgets, and developing, preparing and delivering programmatic reports to various stakeholders. Additionally, the candidate should have a minimum of two years' experience in ensuring programmatic compliance with federal and state regulations as well as supervising staff. Essential Functions

  • As a policymaking official, directs, plans, executes, evaluates, and controls the administration of Operational Analytics and demonstration and outreach programs. Conducts complex data analysis or research on existing or proposed Agency programs.
  • Serves as the Agency's spokesperson on behalf of the Division Manager. Travels to attend meetings/conferences and represents the Division Manager on various task forces, advisory committees and advocacy groups.
  • Directs the development of annual budget projections and monitors program expenditures for the Bureau of Operational Analytics.
  • Supervises subordinates; assists in the development of the staff toward individual performance goals.
  • Confers with Division Manager and other staff in the development, dissemination and analysis of program data, policies, procedures, rules and regulations, guidelines, standards, and technical assistance material.
  • Directs and coordinates the preparation of, reports and program analysis for the evaluation of existing and proposed changes to Operational Analytics and demonstration and outreach programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned of required, which are within the scope of responsibilities enumerated above.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college, preferably with courses in business or public administration.
  • Requires prior experience equivalent to three years of progressively responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefers three years or more of experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel by conducting Power BI queries, SQL queries, and advanced functions and formulas.
  • Prefers three years or more of experience providing statistical analysis of program data.
  • Prefers three years or more of experience providing input into and executing a budget.
  • Prefers three years or more of experience developing, preparing, and delivering programmatic reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prefers at least two years of experience ensuring programmatic compliance with federal and state rules, laws, and or regulations.
  • Prefers at least two years or more experience supervising staff.
