The Role:
The Analyst, Platform Performance is responsible for monitoring, optimizing and analyzing the business across our stores and brands to summarize and drive performance across all key performance indicators, including sales and customer experience. The primary focus of this role is providing performance data and suggesting actionable insights to our Retail, Platform Operations, Customer Success and Merchandising teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, and understanding of how to drive sales through effective performance strategies and action plans.
Role Location:
This role is based in New York City. We have a hybrid office culture with an expectation to be in-office 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance & Analysis
Support and coordinate projects aimed at improving store performance, KPIs and labor management
Prepare analysis and reporting to understand KPIs to inform training, operations and field leadership on strategies to improve performance
Maintain and evolve employee dashboard, scorecard and KPI dashboards
Partner with the Analytics team to develop reporting to support understanding and informing the organization on retail performance
Support the creation of call agendas and templates
Monitor and evaluate the labor program to improve effectiveness
Join brand facing calls to assist the Retail teams in delivered business analysis
Cross-Functional Partnership
Work closely with the field leadership team to develop reporting and analysis to support business driving initiatives
Collaborate with field leadership and customer success to create an environment that fosters feedback to generate continued process improvements
Develop cross-functional partnership with various teams across the organization to share information and align on strategies
Key competencies & attributes for success
2+ years experience in retail operations management or retail finance
Strong analytical skills
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
Advanced knowledge of retail fundamentals such as retail calendars, sales/traffic dynamics and the basics of retail operations
Working knowledge of modern brand retail and/or ecomm, e.g. DTC and customer experience.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high growth business environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to operate “in the weeds” without losing sight of the big picture
Salary Range Transparency
A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000. All corporate roles are eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.
