Position Summary:

A Senior Full Stack Engineer at Snowbird Agility thrives in an exciting, fast-paced environment. A Senior Full Stack Engineer works remotely to analyze, design, develop, test and implement software applications in compliance with the Software Development Life Cycle for on-premise and cloud applications. They participate in user interviews to gather requirements and create solution designs. They develop code based on business requirements and an understanding of all integrated systems. They document all technical processes, requirements, and flows/diagrams to support the solution delivery. Using appropriate tools, they design an application interface and perform the programming and testing and/or direct the programming and testing effort to meet user needs and development standards. They are responsible for defect tracking, bug fixes, system maintenance (i.e. - releases, patches, upgrades) and deployment.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
  2. Working individually or as part of a team, reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports.
  3. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
  4. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  1. Eight (8) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  3. This position is for React Front End engineering with extensive testing and accessibility experience. (React Query, Vite, working with design systems and component libraries)
  4. Proficient in Python (Fast API or similar Python API experience)
  5. Auth + SSO Experience (Oauth, JWTs, SAML Tokens)
  6. Experience with AWS, Docker, and Terraform
  7. Experience with FHIR + EHR Systems a plus
  8. Experience with Ruby is a plus.
  9. Takes initiative, detail-oriented, problem solver, willing to ask questions, clear communicator

  11. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills

  16. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
