KPI OceanConnect Global Accounts are looking for an account manager to be based in Miami. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our cruise team working together with colleagues in Singapore and London.
You will be reporting in to our Commercial Director in Houston, Soeren Mikkelsen
As an Account Manager you will be joining a high performance team and will be given the opportunity to contribute into growing the companies ambitions in the cruise segment. Our ambitions are to grow this segment organically and you will play a vital role in doing so.
Day-to-day tasks include:
- Running of day-to-day trading of bunker enquiries (negotiating prices and closing deals)
- Participating in client and supplier visits
- Supporting current operations and expanding market share
- Identifying business opportunities and supporting business development activities
- Supporting and continuing to add value to our strategic partners
- Aligning with overall strategy
The ideal candidate:
- Has strong English / Spanish communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience in the following industries (logistics / agency / fuel trading)
- Is ambitious and has a passion to create positive change
- Proactive in manner and social
- Min. 2-3 years of work experience in bunkers and/or the cruise segment.
