Academic Qualifications:

  • BE / B. Tech
  • Commensurate training and experience will be considered without a degree.


Required Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of direct experience with import/export compliance or equivalent


Technical Skills:

  • Understanding and experience with ECCN and HS classification methodology. Ability to work in a global team and communicate effectively in English.
  • Proficient with complete Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, SharePoint, Concur, Nitro Pro and PC skills. Experience with data base systems is preferred.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Corporate Trade Compliance and Legal teams with administrative work including but not limited to drafting memos, letters, notices and other documents, writing and editing emails, tracking changes in Word documents, typing documents, preparing Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, helping in the process of executing agreements and other documents.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
  • Performing minor accounting duties.
  • Processing expense reports.
  • Communicating with other departments of Vishay, regulatory agencies, external auditors and other parties as necessary.
  • Assisting with the management/maintenance of certain Corporate Secretary/Board/Legal Software.
  • Maintaining professional subscriptions.
  • Assisting and coordinating with travel arrangements.
  • Making appointments, organizing meetings and conference calls including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
  • Answering phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Providing a list of visitors to the security department and greeting and escorting visitors.


Corporate Trade Compliance – Specific

  • Reviewing and processing export control documentation for new hires.
  • Approving new job requirements in Workday.
  • Updating and maintaining the Trade Compliance SharePoint site (approved licenses, contact lists, trade control documents, etc.).
  • Assisting with the review of license requests and submittals including supporting export licensing and compliance data management, monitoring and metrics reporting.
