JOB TITLE: Creative Director I

DEPARTMENT: Corporate Admin; Marketing and Communications

LOCATION: US (Ohio preferred)

We are in search of a highly creative, organized Creative Director who can lead and inspire our growing team of talented graphic designers. Our collaborative team includes 12 international designers who are responsible for strategic marketing campaigns, successful proposal submissions, internal and external events and initiatives, website design, 3D graphics and video production, advertisements, etc., to support multiple industries. Our ideal candidate can develop innovative and focused ideas, outline project plans, work effectively with subject matter experts across continents, manage multiple deadlines, and help the team deliver materials that enlighten and engage. This person will work alongside our Marketing Director, Proposal Director, and Communications Director, and will report to our Director of Marketing and Communications.

Responsibilities
    Mentor and encourage creative team members to learn, grow, and excel.
  • Foster a positive and constructive work environment.
  • Be accountable for the quality and completion of all work projects assigned to members of the creative team.
  • Help drive creative design ideas that advance desired business objectives.
  • Ensure content positively reflects the brand image, company ideals, and the direction of the firm and its family of companies.
  • Anticipate problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement constructive solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with leadership, supervisors, peers, direct reports, and subject matter experts.
  • Participate in and provide regular opportunities for professional development and growth to team
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in fine arts, marketing, graphic design, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in relevant positions.
  • Familiarity with a variety of design software, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, WordPress, etc.
  • People management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience developing brand identities and strategies.
  • Experience interacting with high-profile clients and industry professionals.
  • Recent hands-on experience with applying design, copy, or web best practices.
  • Professional business skills, such as negotiation, project management, and leadership.
  • Talent in presenting information concisely and accurately, with keen attention to detail.
