Production Coordinator

Job Summary:

JH Design Unlimited is a design/wrap shop looking for a Production Coordinator. This is a full-time, in-house position in a fast-paced office environment. This position will be doing a variety of production work for signs, wraps, print items, and apparel. The ideal candidate will be able to design, produce visually appealing graphics, print, laminate, cut vinyl using large format equipment, weed vinyl, and doing various other production work for services provided by JH Design.

Job Functions:

• Design artwork for a variety of print projects, including but not limited to business cards, signage, banners, vehicle graphics, and other services provided by JH Design.
• Print with large format printers.
• Laminate with large format laminators.
• Cut using large format cutting machines.
• Cut and weed vinyl.
• Lay transfer, merry vinyl, and lay vinyl on small sign jobs.
• Evaluate, strategize, and execute multiple projects concurrently.
• Track project progress and adhere to established deadlines.
• Effectively communicate with clients about design concepts and project specifics.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective completion of work.
• Oversee and perform maintenance on printing and laminating equipment.

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop & Illustrator)
• Ability to demonstrate sign/wrap industry knowledge
• Strong understanding of the design industry is required
• Proficient in understanding bleed, resolution, and other key concepts in the print and design industry
• Be able to use CorelDraw is a plus
• Good interpersonal skills in working with customers, employees, and management
• Positive attitude with strong, dependable, and honest work ethic
• Excellent organization skills with attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 2 years in sign/wrap industry
• Standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time to perform basic office functions
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs, physically able to work in sign shop environment
• Ability work independently and within a team
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License

Hours: 8:30/9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30 minute unpaid lunch)

Pay: $16 - $22 per hour
Compensation will be determined by the candidate’s experience and industry knowledge.
