Quality Manager - Arlington, Texas
We are currently seeking a Quality Manager for a manufacturing company in Arlington, Texas. This role requires close collaboration with production, engineering, and customer teams to improve product quality, reduce defects, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of our products and procedures through inspections, implementation of quality control measures, and identification of areas for improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to building high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the plant's quality control and assurance processes to ensure that all products meet company and customer quality standards.
- Lead quality planning during product development stages and produce quality control plans.
- Manage yield analysis and issue resolution during product development to ensure design problems are addressed in a timely manner.
- Participate in process optimization and establish product quality standards and documentation during development.
- Supervise and improve quality control processes on the production line, ensuring product quality at every stage meets the required standards.
- Organize regular quality reviews and inspections, identify problems, and propose improvements.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for engineering or science-related major
- Previous work experience as a Quality Manager or similar role - 3-5 years
- Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA)
- In-depth understanding of technical documentation.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and SAP.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis.
- Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus.
- At least 4 years of quality management experience in the power supply or EMS industry in FATP
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry, with familiarity in PCBA processes.
- Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies and experience with ISO9001/ISO14001 certifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in handling major customer complaints and leading large meetings
