Job Requirements / Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster customer relationships in a team-based selling model.
  • Manage deliveries based on routing schedule; troubleshoot any order process problems.
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop new accounts.
  • Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products.
  • Drive to customers and prospects to ensure product delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
  • Foodservice industry/culinary/restaurant management/hospitality experience preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
  • Problem-solving ability and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products.

EDUCATION

  • HS Diploma or equivalent

LICENSES

  • Valid driver's license required & motor vehicle record must be in good standing.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be able to stand, walk, drive, and sit frequently. Must also be able to lift and carry various weights.
