Amazon is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to focus on supporting its related party transactions in the LATAM region, with emphasis on Brazil, and other key initiatives. The candidate should have significant transfer pricing experience and be comfortable directly liaising with various business teams within the company and with other members of the global tax department.


Key job responsibilities

End-to-end support of transfer pricing policies for new business initiatives and ongoing activities, including but not limited to: planning, monitoring, compliance, documentation, and audit/APA support.


About the team

Amazon’s transfer pricing group deals with all aspects of the company's global inter-company arrangements. This includes developing, executing and maintaining the company’s inter-company transfer pricing policies, assisting with tax audits and APA’s, collecting and gathering data & information, preparing/reviewing transfer pricing documentation reports, analyzing business and planning strategies, M&A integration, and managing & working with outside advisers.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
  2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  3. Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Knowledge of accounting principles, processes, and entries
  2. Master's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field
  3. Knowledge of at least one data-focused technology tool, such as Python, SQL, Alteryx, Amazon QuickSight, or similar
  4. Strong familiarity with Brazil tax matters
  5. 5+ years of experience working on transfer pricing matters under OECD Guidelines
