Job Requirements / Description

The Health Specialist is responsible for all the Center’s health services needs which includes providing nursing and health services for the Center’s enrolled children/participants. The Health Specialist also is responsible the completion of all needed health documentation regarding enrolled children and families. This includes updating health files and entering the information into the CP and Salesforce system. The Health Specialist reports to the Enrollment & Family Services Director.

  • Certified Nurse Assistant or Bachelor’s degree in Science or Health related field preferred or AA in a related field and experience in casework or outreach work.
  • One year experience working with children preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and daily access to reliable transportation required.

Job details:

  • Compensation: Range starts at $18/50/hr; offers are commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits: Medical/dental/vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure); 11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match.
  • Schedule: Full-time, hourly; general business hours with some flexibility required for special projects and evening/weekend recruitment events.
