Regional General Manager- Retail

RETS, on behalf of our client, a prominent CRE owner/operator in Los Angeles, is seeking a General Manager to oversee their West LA portfolio consisting of roughly 750k sf of class A retail and office space. The GM will oversee a team of seven and report directly into the COO.

The ideal candidate is a high energy team leader with experience managing class A retail properties in the Southern California market. Should have experience with leadership and support in property management, engineering, and construction.

The role is based in West Los Angeles and is in office 4x/week.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance, or accounting.
• Minimum ten to twelve years property/asset management experience in Commercial Real Estate industry and five years in a supervisory role.
• Property management experience in retail and commercial building operations, tenant relations, construction and tenant finish activity, engineering and preventative maintenance, security, emergency procedures, budgeting accounting and financial reporting, as well as managing revenue and expenses at property level.
• California real estate license required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Yardi preferred.
