Job Requirements:
· Must have 3+ years of experience climbing and working on communication towers
· The Foreman will need to provide high quality workmanship, attention to detail, keep the project on time and on budget.
· Perform tower maintenance and tower equipment upgrades under close supervision
· Adhere to workplace safety requirements and insure a safe work environment
· Effectively interface with all levels of Management, Staff, and Customers
· Intermediate computer operation and Smart phone skills and familiarity with computer based and App programs (time clock apps, expense apps, Word, Excel, Adobe)
· Passed initial background check and substance screening
· Driving record must meet Ethos insurance standards and must maintain a valid state Driver’s License
· Knowledge of all telecom related tools
· Willingness to take hands on approach in leading their team through demonstration
· Responsible for training subordinates
· Advance troubleshooting skills for most major carriers
Preferred Job Qualifications:
· Competent Climber and Rescue
· Advance Rigging Knowledge
· Crane hand signal
· Capstan operation
· Truck and trailer towing (Flat bed or Enclosed)
· Man Lift & Scissors Lift operation
· RF and GHS
· OSHA 30
· CPR/First Aid
· NWSA TTT-1 certification or ability to obtain within 3 months after hire
· Extensive knowledge of most major carriers and their components
· Must be able to communicate with tower NOC, NFSD, Amdocs, and GDC in verbal or written form
· Read and interpret construction drawings, RFDS, and market color codes
· Ability to read and set antenna RET’s per RFDS
· Ability to perform steel additions, mount modifications on tower, and including up to stacking towers
· Advance knowledge in troubleshooting RF and electrical components
· Ability to operate test equipment, understand test results (i.e. RF Sweep gear, PIM and Fiber testing)
· Must be able to complete “close out” packages
· Must have 3 years’ experience running crews of 2 to 5 climbers and solving team issues
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Essential Duties:
· Must be reliable – daily attendance for scheduled work is mandatory and must be able to complete projects on time
· Performs overtime work, including working a flexible and variable work schedule as needed to meet business objectives
· Should be able to estimate time, materials, and other costs
· Ability to create construction schedule and update daily
· Complete work in a timely and efficient manner by planning, prioritizing, and mobilizing staff, materials to meet schedule
· Ensure Construction Manager is apprised of construction progress, concerns and deviations from plans or established schedule
· Create and turn in daily reports to management team
· Responsible for crew time sheet approval on daily and weekly basis
· Follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform maintenance on equipment
· Performs night MOP work as required
· Follows product specifications and executes plans as directed
· Demonstrates the ability to learn defect detection, repair and construction of telecom projects. Assures projects are built to customer specifications. Seeks assistance when encountering issues to ensure success in problem resolution
· Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete project
· Create material requisition form send to Warehouse Manager and CM, Coordinate delivery and off-loading of all materials
· Identify construction "punch list" of items to be remedied and ensure they are completed prior to customer’s inspection
· Finalize all inspections to close project
· Assign tasks to fellow crew members and perform civil or tower construction activities such as stacking towers, trenching, conduit install, testing, installing antennas, positioning antennas, installing RRH’s, running coax, etc.
· Communicating both verbally and in writing as well as take direction both verbally and in writing
· Completes required reports and other paperwork which will require computer entry
· Closely adheres to all safety standards and procedures. Identifies gaps in safety standards as well as safety risks in the environment and provides recommendations to higher level technical staff and management
· Maintains adherence to Company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices
· Maintains proper care of Company tools and vehicles
· Analyze situations accurately and complete assigned course of action
· Effectively contributes to strong team environment through assisting team members in accomplishing goals, supporting and promoting team spirit and cooperation
· Demonstrates integrity, strong initiative, as well as a focus on quality of work and safety on a daily basis
· Proactively looks for improvement opportunities to job appropriate processes and procedures and communicates through appropriate channels
· May maintain and enforce all OSHA safety practices, perform daily jobsite safety inspections on equipment prior to operation. Immediately stops work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
· Evaluate the job sites and communications equipment, and secure and protect as required
· Knowledge of sector/antenna configurations with respect to jumper and coax routing, RET settings and cabling, and fiber routing
· Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep
· Proficient testing and working with Fiber
· Interpret the alarm conditions on the network and implement repairs and restoration plans to ensure minimal service disruption and impact to customer
· Install, connect and test underground and above ground grounding systems
· Attend vendor and in-house training and participates in certification programs as necessary
· Ensure work is performed and completed in accordance with local, state and federal regulations, including assistance with permits as well as inspections.

· Shares hotel room while traveling
