Principal Software Engineer – Fullstack AI (hybrid)

Job Title: Principal Software Engineer – Fullstack AI
Rate: $110/hr
Location: Charlotte, NC, Dallas TX, Phoenix AZ, New York NY- hybrid onsite
Only taking USC, GC or H4 EAD
Duration: 18 months – potential to go perm – must be able to convert

Job Description:

1. 15 years of experience in software development
2. Experience with Google Vertex AI, Document AI a plus
3. Understanding of Generative AI concepts, LLM model implementation and tuning, Prompt Engineering, RAG, using Google Vertex AI
4. Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with groups (e.g., Engineering, Product Management, AI COE, UX and UI), and brokering trade-offs with stakeholders and understanding their needs
5. 5 years of experience in driving technical collaboration across multiple teams and organizations
6. Experience designing, building and operating financial services applications
7. Experience in building UIs, building and integrating with MicroServices, Messaging with Kafka/Solace
8. Experience designing and building solutions using Python and MongoDB
9. Experience with document generation using open source libraries such as Apache POI, Freemarker, etc.
10. Experience with libraries such as ReactJS for UI, Python frameworks for data parsing and extraction such as pandas, pymupdf, pdfplumber, tabula, flask, PyMongo, etc.
11. Outstanding narrative and storytelling skills that propel usage, adoption, and market momentum
12. Experience with building application systems for multiple functional business groups, implement auditable application access control, implement role-based data visibility
13. Familiarity with cloud hosted applications and solid understanding and practical experience with agile frameworks
14. Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools to integrate into the enterprise pipeline and SDLC processes
