Regional Director: Before and Afterschool Programs, Rhode Island and Massachusetts

We are looking for proven leaders in the afterschool space to join our team and create an exciting learning environment for our students and team members. You and your team will lead students through exciting adventures each day at multiple school-based sites.

Pay & Benefits:

• Starts at $80,000 - Salary range is based on education and experience

As an AlphaBEST Regional Director, you'll be trained and mentored to do the following:

• Set the tone for your team, based on our core values: Children First, Have Fun, Value Connection, Drive Innovation, Lead with a "Yes" Mindset, BEST at what we do. Make it Right.
• Ensure the success of engaging programs that advance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children throughout your region's program sites.
• Achieve regional operational objectives by developing, contributing, and providing recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing action plans, and implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standard initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with peers and the Regional Leadership Team, staff, parents, and school administrators to develop AlphaBEST's brand in your area.
• Respond to and resolve concerns from stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain a high-performance team, regularly evaluating the performance of Area Managers against policies and objectives.
• Evaluate program safety and performance, making corrections as necessary.
• Build sustainable community partnerships with local business leaders and organizations.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and build new opportunities for growth.
• Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered throughout your area of responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, Education, etc.).
• Proven experience in business development and operations management.
• Familiarity with the Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts before and after-school state licensing requirements.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
