Responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, financial management, and staff coordination, the Dental Practice Manager services as a central point of contact for both internal team members and external stakeholders. This role involves managing schedules, handling patient inquiries, maintaining records, and implementing office policies and procedures. The Dental Practice Manager also collaborates with dentists and other staff to optimize patient care delivery and enhance the overall patient experience. Exceptional organizational, communication, and strong leadership skills are essential for success in this role.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties include, but are not limited to:Serves as an office facilitator for all personnel by acting as liaison between office and Corporate and provides positive leadershipSupervises all treatment support systems and patient flow sequencing.Maintains collection controls and systemsMonitors overall expenses in the officeOversees daily closeout functions as well as daily deposit with the corporate officeEvaluates work performance of subordinates and mentors, counsels, and provides discipline when necessaryPerforms miscellaneous job-related duties as assignedQualifications5+ years’ work experience in a dental or medical office with at least 1+ years as supervisor or management level with direct reports requiredStrong customer service orientation towards patients and staffEasily able to learn new technologies and systems requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentRequires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as neededExperience using Outlook, Word, Excel requiredHigh School diploma or GED requiredKnowledge and Skills/Expected CompetenciesStrong customer service orientation towards patients and staff.Easily able to learn new technologies and systems as required.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to review critical issues, effectively solve problems and create action plans.Ability to develop and implement new approaches to improve processes, procedures and the general work environment.Excellent organization, prioritization, follow up, analytical and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Ability to use independent judgement and to manage and impart confidential information.Physical/Mental Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
