Job Overview
The Director of Sales is responsible for the administration of sales and the move-in program. The Director will plan, develop, and implement a departmental strategy that maintains a community occupancy level consistent with goals.

Responsibilities

  1. Establish goals and oversee the daily operations of the department to attain or maintain targeted occupancy levels. Maintain compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines. Monitor efficiency and effectiveness of departmental activities.
  2. Design and implement the annual sales and marketing plan.
  3. Plan ads, newsletters, and other advertising and public relations materials. Interface with media outlets regarding interviews and press releases.
  4. Plan, update and conduct sales and marketing presentations. Provide tours of the facility as part of strategic sales initiatives.
  5. Actively contribute towards improving public relations, increasing positive public regard and overall awareness of the facility.
  6. Develop and actively participate in the Outreach Program by providing necessary resources, building contacts, creating awareness and garnering goodwill overall.
  7. Plan and monitor the move-in program to ensure the highest level of coordination and communication with new residents and their families.
  8. Develop departmental budget, forecasts and staffing plans.
  9. Act as Resident liaison and advocate to the Executive Director.
  10. Advise on long range planning, introduction of new programs, and regulatory interaction. Provide reports and recommendations to the Executive Director as necessary or required concerning the operation of the department.
  11. Monitor coordination of department services with other resident services to ensure the continuity of the residents' total regimen of care. Coordinate with other staff members in scheduling events and use of facilities.
  12. Complete appropriate forms, reports, evaluations, and studies.
  13. Recruit, hire, train, supervise, schedule, evaluate, and counsel the staff of the sales and marketing department.
  14. Attend in-service classes and staff meetings, as required.
  15. Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
  16. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

  1. Combination of education and/or experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university, with major work in marketing or related field required.
  2. At least three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in marketing, the senior living care industry, or related field required.
  3. Valid state driver’s license (and liability insurance) to use personal vehicle for Marketing travel required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
