Responsibilities:
Page’s Mission Critical team is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented BIM Coordinator for their fast-paced, highly nimble team focusing on large scale, multi-disciplinary design projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on solving complex design and construction challenges. Working closely with the BIM Manager, you will support the production and coordination of highly integrated BIM models, documenting resilient facilities with critical engineering requirements. Working alongside an industry-leading, multi-disciplinary design team, this position offers both personal and professional growth with a wide range of responsibilities and leadership roles including the chance to manage projects as you develop proficiency and leadership skills.
Assist in the creation, development, and management of BIM models for large-scale mission-critical projects;
Oversee and manage the Architectural BIM process for the project duration and ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with the Project BIM Protocols;
Review, contribute to, and implement BIM Execution Plans;
Establish, implement, and maintain quality control procedures;
Lead project BIM delivery for the architectural department; manage the production of models, drawings, and other outputs such as coordination exports, schedule exports, and more;
Provide advice and support for the group to enable efficient delivery and high-quality spatial data on the various projects;
Establish BIM Coordination workshops and report progress at the Project Design Team meetings;
Evaluate clash detection and coordination efforts to ensure successful integration of multi-disciplinary designs;
Work with Architects, Engineers, and Technicians on a number of fast-paced projects;
Work with the Project Manager, discipline Engineers, and BIM Manager to define deliverable schedules and implement these within the model;
Develop skills for managing cross-disciplinary BIM processes on smaller-scale projects, independently coordinating with design and construction teams as proficiency increases.
Qualifications:
Degree or Certificate in BIM, Architecture, or related field from an accredited university;
Proficiency with REVIT required;
Proficiency with Autodesk Cloud Services, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office recommend;
An articulate communicator able to convey Design Technology-related concepts;
Ability to set priorities and manage competing demands;
Experience in modeling a range of services including but not limited to; mechanical pipework, ventilation, lighting, power, containment, and drainage;
Eagerness to develop skills and a desire to assist others on high standard BIM output on projects.
