Job Description **
**They are currently seeking three CNC Mechanists to join the team. As a CNC Mechanist, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality precision parts using CNC machines. If you are a detail-oriented problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

**
Responsibilities**

  • Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.
  • Machine parts to specifications using milling machines.
  • Measure and examine completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines.
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Follow instructions outlining methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products.
  • Perform minor preventive maintenance on machines.
  • Collaborate with team members and numerical control programmers to ensure proper functioning of machines and adherence to specifications.
  • Recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency and adaptability to setup and production.

Requirements**

  • High school diploma required; Associate's Degree or Machinist certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with CNC Mill, CNC lathes, and/or CNC mill-turn preferred.
  • Proficiency in using and interpreting precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and know when to request help.
  • Knowledge of precision production tools and equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Basic computer skills (email, Word, Excel, ERP/software systems) and math skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements**

  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and use hands and arms to handle and reach.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment.

Position Details**

  • Full-time non-exempt position, onsite Monday-Thursday (2 day shifts available and 1 night)
  • Salary Range: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour.
  • Full benefits package including medical insurance and 401k.
