Your Role:

As a Paralegal at The Manely Firm, you’ll be a vital part of our legal team, providing essential support to our attorneys and ensuring our clients receive top-notch service. From drafting pleadings to managing case files, your role is key to our mission of delivering excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

· Billable Hours: Produce an average of 130 client billable hours per month.

· Drafting & Documentation: Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and family law forms with precision.

· Discovery Analysis: Independently analyze and summarize discovery documents.

· Client Communication: Engage with clients and witnesses to prepare for mediation, deposition, and trial.

· Trial Prep: Create spreadsheets, graphs, and trial exhibits to support case presentations.

· On-Site Support: Assist attorneys at mediations, depositions, and trials as needed.

· Scheduling: Manage case-related scheduling and calendar events.

· Case Management: Use our comprehensive case management system for accurate record-keeping.

· Training: Participate in firm-wide and position-specific training and development.


Qualifications:

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or extensive experience as a family law paralegal.

· Experience: Minimum of two years as a paralegal, with at least one year in family law preferred.
