Job Description

Crown is looking for all levels of Aerospace Engineers to work on the NAMS-2 project in Mountain View, CA to:

  • Explore, through directed research, autonomous applications in air traffic management in an appropriate simulation platform; including simulation and analysis of performance and uncertainty models.
  • Develop research algorithms, design, and develop flight performance models and algorithms for data analysis, research, and system integration of Scheduling, Separation Services, Conflict Management services, and Weather and Noise services.
  • Develop the requirements for using increasingly autonomous systems in a service-oriented architecture. Develops scripts to generate different types of traffic scenarios.

Qualifications:

Level I - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Requires 2+ years of related experience.

Level II - A Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Requires 4+ years of related experience.

Level III - Requires a Master's degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, engineering or equivalent, or related degree. Requires 10+ years of related experience.

The salary range is $82,000 to $180,000.
