Your Role
Are you driven by the desire to deliver exceptional client service? Are you a leader of change, always making sure your people and processes are fit for the future? We’re looking for a Market Director to:
- create a vision and business development strategy across multiple locations
- coach financial advisors to deliver excellent client service, drive business growth, improve retention and establish a robust local presence
- set financial advisor recruiting goals, lead recruiting activities and oversee the transition of advisors
- monitor and resolve (in collaboration with partners) escalated issues, including financial, reputational, compliance, supervisory, operational and HR governance risks
- partner with the management team to manage day-to-day activities
- manage P&L, and incorporate P&L considerations in business decisions
- work closely with Market Executive to support offices in Louisville, Paducah & Lexington, Kentucky
Your Team
You’ll be working as part of Wealth Management Americas. We help high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families meet their financial goals through financial advisors who deliver products and services specifically designed for them. You'll lead the market team, reporting directly to the divisional director. You'll manage a group of branch managers and financial advisors across your market acting as a coach on all aspects of their roles.
Your Expertise
- ideally 15 + years of experience with a leading financial institution
- proven leadership experience in the industry
- FINRA Registrations: Series 3 (where applicable) Series 7, 66, 8 or 9, and 10
- life and Health Insurance license
- motivated, self-directed and driven
- skilled at creating a positive business culture
- result-oriented and assertive (you don’t shy away from challenging situations)
