Tax Consultant

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Tax Consultant to join their team! This position is located in Riverwoods, Illinois. This team is also open to candidates from Chicago who are comfortable commuting to Riverwoods one day a week.

Duties:

• Responsible for tax research projects in support of tax planning and reporting, assists with international tax compliance, manages tax vendors
• Support international tax compliance process by gathering data, reviewing international forms, and assisting with GILTI, FDII, Forms 5471 and 8858
• Manage vendor requirements for tax vendors, including accounting firms

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, business, a tax specific degree, or a Law degree
• Tax Research Background
• Tax Software: Tax Notes, CCH, CheckPoint, BNA, or Bloomberg
• Understanding of Tax Compliance
• Understanding of either state or federal level - could be as basic as knowing how to file Tax Returns
• Organizational skills
