We are looking for a Product Introduction Controller for various projects across Canada and the US.

Responsibilities:

1. Support the Project Finance Managers to ensure the Product Introduction workpackage is properly aligned.
2. Coordinate financial reviews with the different operational managers from the Product Introduction team.
3. Prepare in coordination with the project team the different reports for the monthly Work Package Reviews following Alstom standards.
4. Ensure that actuals and cost at completion of a work package (WP) are accurate.
5. Pro-active activities to mitigate overcosts by making proposals to the different areas (Purchasing, Production...) to generate savings.
6. Ensure that all financial processes and internal controls, including DoA, are implemented, robust and compliant.
7. Provide management with reliable financial data in order to assist in the decision-making.
8. Ad-hoc reporting on project including special investigations of issues arising.

Required Profile:

1. Graduate with financial background.
2. 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
3. Good technical as well as process understanding combined with a constant focus on possible optimizations.
4. High affinity for working with numbers and/or processing and evaluating numbers.
5. Good level of English, French an asset.
6. Sure handling of MS Office, especially Excel.
7. Experience using ERP, SAP, an asset.
8. Analytical thinking, high team and communication skills.
9. Independent and solution-oriented way of working.
10. Team player and positive mindset.
