Based in Germany and operational since 2017, PAUL has successfully managed solutions for portfolios of properties ranging from dozens of residential units to tens of thousands.

We are entering an exciting phase of expansion into the US market and are seeking a Technical Project Manager to manage the introduction and implementation of our innovative products throughout buildings in the US. As one of our earliest US employees, you will play a key role in the US expansion to address one of today’s most significant challenges—reducing energy consumption and CO emissions of buildings.

As a Technical Project Manager, You Will

  1. Apply in-depth knowledge of HVAC systems to conduct building inspections and audits and hardware installations for a wide range of building systems.
  2. Facilitate the deployment of building technology solutions, aligning building automation and control strategies with PAUL teams that leverage proprietary smart building technology, including artificial intelligence applications.
  3. Manage procurement, installation, and commissioning activities ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  4. Ensure project compliance with U.S. building, safety, and emission regulations.
  5. Collaborate with PAUL’s U.S. sales team and other internal stakeholders to ensure seamless customer success.
  6. Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, enabling PAUL's solutions to scale alongside customer needs.

You Should Have

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and/or maintenance, with a strong foundation in understanding the complexities of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Industry-recognized certifications such as EPA 608, NATE, and other relevant qualifications considered a plus.
  2. Knowledge of a wide array of HVAC system types including boiler plants, central cooling and heating systems, and domestic water processes.
  3. Proven experience managing HVAC projects, including coordination with contractors, oversight of hardware procurement, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Familiarity with smart building technologies and IoT-enabled products is a plus.
  4. Superior ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to customers, team members, and external partners.
  5. Proficiency with cross-cultural interactions; experience in working with European and American business practices a plus.
  6. Proficiency in English, with an ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical contexts. Knowledge of the German language is a plus.
  7. Willingness to travel up to 25-50% of the time for building inspections, project installations, and client meetings, based on project needs.

At PAUL Tech, we value a diverse range of experiences and skills. If you don't meet every qualification listed but believe you have the unique perspective and drive to excel as our Technical Project Manager, we strongly encourage you to apply. Your unique skills and experiences can contribute significantly to our mission and success.
